  YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  The Leyland Facility is where the Chicago Town Pizzas started over 30 years ago. We are looking for a dedicated individual with a drive for continually improving processes to join our state-of-the-art production facility and play a key role working alongside our teams who are proudly making the Dr. Oetker and Chicago Town branded pizzas.

  • Being a key member of the Site Leadership Team, you will be responsible for translating the UK and corporate objectives and future strategy into a manufacturing strategy optimising safety, quality, sustainability, and efficiency whilst providing leadership and management across the Manufacturing element of the Leyland site.
  • Providing motivation, support and guidance to all employees and demonstrating a passion for their development and engagement.
  • Foster strong relationships with all functions to ensure collaborative and efficient execution of all operations objectives.

  
  WHAT YOU BRING

  • Be educated to Degree level and ideally have formal lean manufacturing training, you will have proven management experience within a high-speed high-volume people focused manufacturing environment, alongside a proven track record of successful leadership and people management experience.
  • A confident communicator, presenter, and influencer with key internal and external stakeholders, you will have the ability to demonstrate a high level of energy and commitment necessary to ensure the achievement of operational goals and the effective management of change in a dynamic environment.
  • The ability to work within a rapidly changing environment is key, being able to maintain working to high standards whilst meeting short term time pressured goals alongside long term strategic objectives, demonstrating practical problem solving and resourcefulness with the ability to make key decisions.
