- Execute marketing campaigns and initiatives to drive customer acquisition and retention.
- Analyze and optimize marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, search engines, email marketing/CRM, on-us marketing, and events.
- Collaborate with internal marketing teams, CDEP, product teams, and analytics to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns and ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Improve creative testing methodologies.
- Develop and manage marketing budgets and forecasts.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis of marketing metrics to senior management.
- Mentor, Inspire, and lead a team of campaign managers.
- Oversee daily interaction with creative agencies and third-party vendors.
- Provide feedback on strategy briefs.
- Oversee all aspects of campaign execution for marketing initiatives targeted to Diverse Segments, Student and Unbanked consumers.
- Determine and manage budget forecast.
- Ensure all campaigns are produced within approved budget.
- Ensure all marketing campaigns are executed in alignment with policies and procedures.
- Ensure all campaigns obtain on-time approval from legal and compliance.
- Manage relationship with CDEP (Consumer Data and Engagement Platforms) team.
- Provide close oversight for all marketing campaigns to ensure successful completion.
- Partner with analytics team and segment strategy leads to ensure all campaigns have the appropriate analytics support and reporting schedules.
- Develop yearly campaign capacity plans.
- Collaborate with marketing execution teams on process improvements.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and leverage them to improve marketing performance and ROI.
- 4+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms, Social Media or E-business experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of Leadership experience
- 5+ years of significant experience in marketing execution.
- Demonstrated success in driving customer acquisition and revenue growth through performance marketing channels.
- 5+ Experience managing marketing budgets.
- 5+ Advanced to expert knowledge of all elements of the campaign cycle, including strategy planning, forecast, testing, creative development, L&C approvals, marketing execution, and reporting.
- 5+ Experience managing capacity plans for marketing execution.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data driven marketing strategies and tools, including Google analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, CEE, Aprimo, and other marketing platforms.
- Experience in Sales Force and Sales Force Marketing Cloud.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or digital analytics preferred.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing legal and compliance approval process for marketing campaigns.
- 3+ years of experience developing strategy briefs.
- 3+ years of experience overseeing campaign reporting.
- Fluent in verbal/written Spanish language.
- Understanding of US Latino consumer insights or Diverse consumer insights.
- Significant experience conducting consumer research.
- Experience executing marketing campaigns in languages different than English.
- 3+ years of experience on agency relationship management.
- Proven experience defining and executing comprehensive marketing strategies.
- 3+ years of experience planning and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns, including Digital Marketing and social media.
- Experience in internal and external communications.
- Deep understanding of Wells Fargo’s current policies and procedures as well as systems used for marketing execution.
- Experience leading change across organizations with or without direct authority.
- Understanding of financial services P&Ls/drivers, products, and services.
- Demonstrated ability to define and track campaign’s KPIs to determine business profit via marketing.
- High-level presentation skills - ability to synthesize marketing strategies, implementation tactics, KPI tracking, and campaign results.
- Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to lead creative development without or with little direction and management support.

This person will be responsible for bringing to life marketing campaigns and initiatives for Diverse Segments, Students and Unbanked consumers. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a unique team of campaign managers who execute marketing initiatives that will directly contribute to Wells Fargo’s business objectives while building awareness and favorability for the bank across Hispanic, Black African American, Asian, Native American, Military Veterans, People with disabilities, unbanked, and student consumers.
The Head of Marketing Execution for Consumer Segments will manage a team of 6 to 8 campaign managers and will report directly to the Head of Marketing for Diverse, Affluent, Student, and Emerging Segments within Wells Fargo’s Consumer and Small Business Line of Business.
We are seeking an individual with proven significant experience in planning and executing marketing campaigns for consumer segments. If you enjoy building and leading teams of campaign managers that strive to excellence, this is for you! We are looking for an individual with deep understanding of project management, marketing campaign execution, team management, and campaign reporting. This role provides a unique opportunity to mentor, inspire, and lead a team of marketers. This individual will also collaborate with senior management on defining budgets, capacity planning, business plans, marketing strategies, and campaign analytics.
This individual will provide expertise and guidance to ensure all marketing campaigns are executed in a timely manner, properly approved by Legal and compliance, produced within budget, in alignment with policies and procedures, in accordance with marketing strategy and business goals, and with the appropriate support from operations and analytics team. This leader will manage the day-to-day interaction with creative agencies and third-party vendors. This manager will also maintain close interactions with product partners and Segment strategy leads within the Diverse, Affluent, Student and Emerging Segments marketing team. The successful candidate will have expertise in marketing execution systems such as Customer Engagement Engines (CEE) and Aprimo.
