Prime Video is building the future of Premium Entertainment in Latin America and you can join us at a leadership position. The Head of Emerging Latin America and their team are responsible for all countries where Prime Video is offered as a stand alone service (outside of Amazon Prime that is available only in BR and MX). This role is for an experienced leader with a business growth mindset and ability to make portfolio choices and investment decisions, particularly on Marketing and team resource allocation. The role owns the region's P&L and works closely with other teams including Product, Content Strategy, Finance, and Marketplace. This role is based at the Prime Video office in Miami, FL.
Key job responsibilities
- Leads the Prime Video business in the locale, representing the voice of the customer.
- Develops a strong and diverse team and fosters effective collaboration with other areas at Amazon
- Establishes region performance goals supported by Finance and is accountable for business performance (subscribers, revenue, cost)
- Defines and secures alignment on region’s priorities across content, marketing, engagement, social, and marketplace.
- Creates team structure and work mechanisms (including away and supporting teams)
- Directly owns overall marketing budget and allocations to deliver on business goals
- Removes roadblocks for team (internal, external), working with peers and senior leaders.
- Acts as external face of business (PR, Public Policy, etc.)
- Inputs into to content strategy and marketplace selection
- Inputs into product roadmap/prioritization with tech/product teams
- Inputs into public policy and economic development workstreams impacting business
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Miami, FL, USA- Bachelors degree or equivalent.
- More than 10 years experience of leading other leaders and overall teams of 10+ members.
- Proven experience in delivering growth in fast changing environments.
- Direct experience in leading Marketing teams, priorities and budgets.
- Experience in P&L planning and management.
- Fluent English.- Experience in subscription OTT business or Entertainment more broadly.
- Experience in leading remote teams.
- Knowledge of the business, entertainment, and marketing in Latin America, particularly AR, CL and CO.
- Fluent Spanish.
