- Lead and protect our "license to operate" (safety, quality, environmental, sustainability and security);
- Lead the integration of functional and business requirements from both regional and global stakeholders;
- Lead the implementation of the Bayer operating strategy creating alignment and collaboration end to end across the supply / value chain with a focus on people-culture-capability;
- Develop organization and capabilities to build future Bayer leaders;
- Develop and lead site strategy with a five-year vision while delivering core metrics;
- Be a Bayer representative for external authorities, local community and suppliers;
- Work on full implementation of the Bayer product supply system inclusive of safety, culture, continuous improvement and operating efficiency leading to competitive cost and service in the marketplace;
- Direct activities that assure continuous improvement in cost control, product quality, efficiency and operating practices to meet division goals and financial commitments;
- Control inventory and meet competitive customer service levels is an important measure for the function;
- Maintain a high level of morale and a team environment that is built on trust and respect for each other.
- Ensures high performance culture through management, coaching and development of direct reports; setting and communicating department objectives and clear standards of performance; goal settings, individual performance evaluations; etc.
- Plans and drives production staff development, to build the pipeline of ready talent for the future. Completes regular development dialogues career discussions and performance management and talent reviews.
- Inspires a solid cross-functional and proactive Safety and Quality mindset.
- Actively supports workforce diversity & inclusion.
- Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) with at least 10 years of experience in different managerial roles of increasing responsibilities requiring strong technical understanding within a manufacturing function;
- Experienced leader who has led supply system and operational excellence transformation by demonstrating engagement through all levels in a production factory environment, e.g, technician to senior management level;
- Experience in leading experts, managers, and operational teams within a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), OSHA and EPA environment;
- Executive leadership capabilities with stakeholders across multiple levels and locations;
- VACC leader (visionary, architect, coach, catalyst)
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement organization vision and roadmap;
- Building and executing a culture and engagement strategy;
- Financial acumen to deliver site Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);
- Staffing and development strategy for professionals across levels and functions;
- Personnel responsibility experience.

Head of Product Supply CH Lerma
Main purpose
Lead strategic Bayer Consumer Health manufacturing site close to Mexico City that supplies Mexico, US/CAN and LATAM with iconic Bayer brands (Aspirin, Alka Selzer, Flanax, Tabcin, Redoxon, Desenfriol, Saridon). In addition, the site is responsible for releasing all Bayer Consumer Health and Pharma products for the Mexican market.
Lead site expansion program to establish new technologies for the Americas.
Lead all aspects of site operations including legal compliance, organization culture, implementation of the Bayer Product Supply System and financial controls, the site leadership and function heads report to the role.
