- Team Leadership: Manage and nurture a team, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting continuous professional development opportunities.
- Project Management: Oversee and drive the successful completion of projects within the portfolio and teams, comprising of Project Managers and Project Directors, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest levels of Quality / EHS. Also includes the ownership of required processes, tools, and templates.
- Project Portfolio Management: Develop, maintain, and manage the project portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, team members, and senior management.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution of projects, including the Risk Assessment during the selling phase of projects.
- Initiative / Lean Management: Spearhead the ongoing improvement of Processes and Methodologies within the Function.
- At least 10 years of professional Project Management experience, ideally within a relevant / transferable industrial sector.
- Higher education in mechanical or chemical engineering – another related technical discipline welcome.
- Demonstrated ability to build cohesive teams, or a strong potential to grow into a first-time leadership role.
- Fluency in English, additional laguages are advantageous.
- In-depth experience with Contract Management (both Customer and Supplier) and Risk Management, along with a comprehensive understanding of project management and engineering principles.
- Excellent planning and organizational capabilities, as well as a problem-solving mind-set.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
