      CSL Vifor is actively looking for a Head of Value, Access & Policy. This role reports to the General Manager and is based in Staines-upon-Thames (hybrid work). Your role and responsibilities will be the following, but not limited to:

      Responsibilities

      • Coordinate all Value & Access activities with a clear annual plan outlining objectives, roles and responsibilities, KPI’s and aligned activities

      • The CSL Vifor UK point of contact for, HTA, Pricing, Tenders, Guidelines, Pharmacoeconomics, Budget impact and Value messaging

      • Provide strategic direction for the Value & Access team and ensure integration of activities within the CSL Vifor UK Medical, Marketing and Customer engagement teams

      • Leadership and management of Value & Access team

      • Achievement of the Value & Access annual business objectives

      • Design and development of appropriate programs and materials including value/economic models to ensure CSL Vifor products address NHS customer needs

      • Provide appropriate resourcing for the function, including budget management, succession planning and recruitment if needed

      • To support and comply with the Organisation’s duty of care obligations in Compliance, pharmacovigilance and medical information.

      • Point of Contact and liaise with global Value & access organization

      Tasks

      • Optimize access for CSL Vifor brands by leading efforts on funding, and funding pull-through

      • Work and align with the CSL Vifor Global Value & Access team on the planning and execution of brand access strategies, value tool development & execution, and company initiatives

      • Develop Value & Access and NHS strategic materials in line with the needs of CSL Vifor brands and in line with global brand strategies

      • Lead and manage the Value & Access team including policy, HEOR, advocacy, and access activities in function of brand strategy needs

      • Drive the NHS Strategy for the CSL Vifor UK business

      • Responsible for the development of the NHS strategic plan and its implementation

      • Partner with the Medical, Marketing and Customer Engagement teams in the development and execution of brand and cross-brand activities and programmes

      • Lead the Value & Access team to develop and implement effective communications and policy programmes

      • Lead the Value & Access team to evaluate the market and develop pricing and tender recommendations for CSL Vifor portfolio

      The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and knowledge, or the equivalent.

      Minimum Requirements

      • Appropriate Degree (BSc, BA, MSc, Ph.D., Pharm. D.)

      • Significant experience in pharmaceutical industry

      • Significant experience of Market Access, NHS funding and commissioning processes, HTA, ABN, Pharmacoeconomics and BIM (ideally 5 years with market access experience, which 2 years in an access leadership role)

      • Proven track record of engaging NICE in product reviews, influencing ICO and Hospital patient care pathways and funding models

      • Understanding of medical aspects of relevant therapeutic areas along with willingness to develop in-depth expertise

      • Professional level in English, both in oral and in written communications

      • Excellent user of Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

      • Has a working knowledge of the ABPI and other relevant regulatory bodies

      Preferred Requirements

      • Significant industry experience including in NHS & Market Access roles

      • Qualification in a healthcare discipline (medical, public healthcare, health economics)

      • Experience within or in working with the NHS, NICE, and ICO’s

      • Experience in VPUK therapeutic areas desirable (Nephrology, Cardiology)

      • Experience of working with commercial teams

      • Experience of managing individuals and teams
