    • Maintains positive relationships with students and interacts with students and adults in a respectful manner Collaborates with administration to maintain the vision of the Strategic Goals and purpose of the club/activity Uses appropriate channels to resolve concerns and problems
    • Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure the efficient functioning of the club
    • Completes all training and certification required by the District
    • The Vex Robotics Head Sponsor will supervise students during builds and competitions. The Sponsor will supervise students in planning and executing events throughout the year. The Sponsor will organize approved fundraisers throughout the year in order to meet the needs of the club's expenses as applicable. Students meet several times per week throughout the school year to design and create robots. The sponsors are there to facilitate the process but the design is entirely student led.

      QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

      SKILLS: Organizational skills and initiative for working with minimal direct supervision. Must show evidence of strong leadership and organizational skills.

      KNOWLEDGE: Previous successful experience in sponsorship/mentoring preferred. Substantial knowledge in the area of student support, as well as familiarity with student discipline and safety protocols.

      ABILITY: Establish and maintain positive and supportive working relationships with all stakeholders to be flexible and change as needed.

      Stipend Range: $6,718-$11,256
