      Due to continued growth, we are now seeking a Health & Safety Compliance Officer to join our HR/H&S team at our Stafford site.

      As H&S Compliance Officer, you will as an ambassador and champion for health and safety across the organisation at all times, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety legislation and a safe working environment for all colleagues within Culina Group.

      This role will act as support for the dedicated H&S representatives within the Culina Group Legal Entities, ensuring we comply with current health and safety legislation, approved codes of practice and to provide guidance in relation to our group norms and policies to ensure we maintain a culture of safe working across our operations.

      This is a full time, permanent position Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm offering a competitive salary and package with the opportunity to work for a forward thinking market leader.

      Job responsibilities of H&S Compliance Officer include:

      • Develop and implement key Group Health and Safety Policies
      • Ensure the Group Health and Safety management system is effective and fit for purpose and suitably implemented across all business areas.
      • Accountable for the provision and ensuring the delivery of mandatory Health and Safety related training programs for Culina Group.
      • Accountable for Drug and Alcohol testing and ordering of kits across the business.
      • Ensuring consistent and accurate reporting across the business concerning Health and Safety KPIs
      • Coordinate the collaboration of business units with regards to Health and Safety.
      • Coordinate Employee Liability Insurance from a Group Level, ensuring respective Business units investigate accidents appropriately so as to ensure the business and our legal counsel are adequately positioned to defend against claims were appropriate and subsequently to reduce the overall cost of liability.
      • Coordinate the Health and Medical Surveillance Program implementation across the business

      Qualifications

      To apply for the role of H&S Compliance Officer, you will possess the following skills, experiences and qualifications:

      • Knowledge of the Industry.
      • Nebosh Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
      • Min 6 years’ experience managing Health and Safety within large/complex organisations.
      • Minimum Certified IOSH Membership
      • Ability to collaborate and network with stakeholders effectively.
