- RES-wide development, application and reporting of Job Site Observations, Field Quality Assessments, Job Hazard Analysis, use of Personal Protective Equipment, Industrial Hygiene, etc.
- Responsible for overall safety and health management within RES in a manner that improves RES health and safety results.
- Ensures prompt and accurate reporting of all incidents in the Incident Alert system by RES supervision/management.
- Performs data entry in corporate Safety Information Management Systems (i.e., AIMS); including reconciliation of absence management data, time sheet entries, and AIMS data to ensure accurate record keeping.
- Coaches Incident Investigation teams to ensure consistent application of the Incident Investigation and Analysis Process.
- Participates in incident investigations and analysis teams and works with RES management to ensure Utility-wide sharing of Reports and timely implementation and tracking of recommendations within the RES. Coordinates closely with the Contractor Safety team to implement a Contractor Safety Program including incident tracking, investigation and reporting is ISNetworld system.
- Turns Incident Analysis recommendations into policy/practices/behavior changes; interfaces with RES field operations groups, occupational work groups, and other groups as needed to implement recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or related field and a minimum 8 years of work experience with direct safety-related responsibilities within an electric utility or similar industry
- Without a bachelor’s degree, must have a minimum of 12 years of work experience with direct safety-related responsibilities within an electric utility or similar industry.
- Demonstrated capabilities in performing root-cause analyses and safety incident investigations,
- Able to respond to safety emergencies reported by field based on construction schedule.
- Have or agree to work toward completing Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP) training.
- Extensive knowledge of OSHA regulations and relevant consensus standards i.e., ANSI, ASTM, NFPA, etc.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities; decision- making, problem solving, teamwork, client/customer satisfaction focus skills.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Experience in delivering presentations and training.
- Must possess a Valid US drivers’ license and maintain a satisfactory diriving record
- 2 years of electric utility experience
- Occupational Safety & Health Technician (OSHT), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Utility Safety Prof (CUSP), Instructor Certification or other related certifications

Job Summary
The Health and Safety Program Manager has direct responsibility for implementing and managing safety programs in their respective Line of Business (LOB). The Health and Safety Program Manager will provide assistance in all matters of health and safety to managers and supervisors in Renewables and Energy Solutions (RES) line of business. Assistance includes actively supporting field operations employees in implementing and communicating recommendations stemming from Incident Investigations, interpreting OSHA regulations, Corporate practices and procedures, understanding new programs, documenting actions/events, and resolving health and safety issues in a consistent manner across RES. The position reports directly to RES leadership (i.e., to a Director, Senior Director, or Vice President) and supports RES leadership by directly managing RES safety programs and driving positive safety behaviors of all RES employees.
