      Job summary

      We are seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to support our Primary Care team who will play a key role in patient care and assist with clinical and administrative tasks. Good timekeeping is important along with the ability to work well under pressure, empathy, understanding and a desire to learn and improve.

      Main duties of the job

      Job Summary:

      • Assist with patient assessments and vital signs monitoring.
      • Support doctors and nurses during examinations and procedures.
      • Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and equipment.
      • Perform basic laboratory tests and record results.
      • Update patient records and manage data entry.
      • Provide patient education on healthcare and wellness.

      18-27 hours a week.

      Bicester Health Centre are one of the longest established GP practices in Bicester, located close to the town centre. We have around 18,500 patients registered with us and are served by a large clinical team of GPs, Nurses, Pharmacy, Physio, Mind Workers and Admin. We strive to provide the best care for our patients and take pride in the service we offer as a team.
