Job summary
Southern Health Foundation Trust has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Health Care Assistant to join The Willow Group, a forward thinking and innovative GP group providing primary care services for 50, 000 patients over 5 local sites in Gosport.
The candidate will demonstrate flexibility, good communication skills, and an ability to work as a team member as well as using own initiative. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your clinical skills. Post holders will have HCA and phlebotomy experience. She/he will demonstrate a commitment to further learning and development. Our healthcare assistant will be working alongside the clinicians to improve overall health and wellbeing of our patients.
Main duties of the job
The Health Care Support worker is a core member of the practice team and will provide physical and psychological care to patients in accordance with the specified plan of care and as directed by a registered nurse or other qualified practitioner.
The Health Care Support Worker will work to provide person centred and safe care to all patients and accurately record and report patient information to the registered nurse in a timely way and in line with agreed procedures.
