      Job summary

      We are a growing practice, currently 4500 registered patients, based in Wing Leighton Buzzard. Due to an internal transfer we are looking to recruit an experienced HCA to join our dedicated team. The post holder will be required to work 25hrs per week Monday - Friday.

      Main duties of the job

      Main duties of the role will be to support our existing clinical team of GPs, Practice Nurse and professionals from the community services who hold sessions at the practice. The role will consist of Phlebotomy, B12s, patient health checks parts 1 & 2, dressings, foot checks, blood pressure checks and life style advice. The post of HCA will also support our practice nurse in ensuring clinical rooms for all are prepared for use as well as stock control.

      About us

      The practice has a compliment of a Lead GP, three salaried doctors, practice nurse and an administration team, as well as excellent support from community teams who visit surgery on regular basis. In addition to all mandatory training the post holder will be offered ongoing training as necessary for role. Practice offers NHS pension and on site parking.
