Job summary

Main duties of the job
The right candidate will have the basic skills of phlebotomy and be able to do new patient health checks and NHS health checks. They will be doing the initial yearly reviews. They will be able to do ECG recording and advise patients on how to do Home BP monitoring as part of Hypertension reviews. In addition they will have done Flu vaccinations under PSD as well as B12, Shingles, pneumococcal vaccination also under PSD. They will have prepared and processed laboratory samples ie MSU, sputum, faeces including guiding patients in doing FIT testing. They will adhere to infection and control procedures

Its clinical team are long serving and we have a admin team both experienced and newly recruited bringing with them fresh ideas. As a training practice for GP registrars and medical students we maintain an enthusiastic atmosphere for learning and embrace change.
