      Are you an experienced Health Care Assistant looking to work with a supportive and welcoming team?

      Priory Medical Group (PMG) is an award winning large multi-site training practice based in the beautiful city of York. Our team is made up of a highly-skilled, experienced and varied work force doing their very best for our patients.

      We provide our patients with the very best in professional, competent and compassionate medical care.We look for people who are warm, friendly, and approachable with that reassuring demeanour for every patient.

      Job description

      Job responsibilities

      We're looking for someone who can:

      • Provide a phlebotomy service.
      • Perform ECGs.
      • Working with the anticoagulation team to offer PoCT.
      • Take blood pressure measurements.
      • Perform urine dip tests.
      • Perform wound dressings including suture/staple removals.
      • Following a plan of care undertake complex wound care e.g. Leg ulcer care
      • Preform doppler tests.
      • Assist doctors with Minor Operations/IUD clinics
      • Provide general support to the practice nurse team.
      • Maintain a team approach to working by attendances at appropriate meetings.
      • Maintain and update skills by attending appropriate training events.
      • Enter all patient activity onto the patients electronic records.
      • Perform diabetic and other health checks.

      Working Hours - There is a full-time position available or 2 part-time positions.

      Location - It does advertise the role as being at Priory Medical Centre on Cornlands Road, however you could be at any of our sites across York.
