      We are currently looking for an enthusiastic motivated Health Care Support Workers who are compassionate and have a genuine interest in Mental Health to join our multi-disciplinary team and support the qualified Nurses in providing person centred care in a caring, compassionate, and positive community.

      The skills required for the role are:

      *Caring and kind

      *Cheerful and friendly

      *Able to follow instructions and procedures

      *Able to work in a team but use their own initiative

      *Good communication skills, including listening

      *Good observational skills

      *Willingness to want to learn

      If you have the skills required and you have a passion for supporting older people, who are experiencing a crisis in their mental health, then we would like to hear from you.

      You will receive regular Supervision and Annual Appraisal and will be offered training opportunities to meet you Personal Development Plan. You will work within a compassionate team, led by a supportive Management Team.

      Previous experience of working within a care environment or the NHS is desirable but not essential as you will be supported in learning in the role.

      Main duties of the job

      The Health Care Support worker in Inpatient Services is a core member of the ward team and will provide physical and psychological care to patients in accordance with the specified plan of care and as directed by a registered nurse or other qualified practitioner.

      The Health Care Support Worker will work to provide person centred and safe care to all patients and accurately record and report patient information to the registered nurse in a timely way and in line with agreed procedures.
