Preparation, planning and delivery of sport and active lifestyles for target communities.

To be able to communicate well with colleagues and participants, especially from diverse backgrounds.
GCSE’s Grades A* - D (or equivalent) in English, Maths and ICT, or the ability to achieve a level 2 functional skills by the end of the apprenticeship.
Have some, but not extensive, experience of working in the Southampton community.

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week (including course attendance)

What will you be doing?
We have an exciting new job opportunity to work with Saints Foundation as an apprentice. This will allow you to get practical paid experience in a working environment, whilst also studying towards a Community Sport and Health Officer Level 3 and accredited Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification.
You will be carrying out responsibilities for Saints Foundation Health projects, to include Senior Saints, Falls recovery, Active Through Football, Saints By your side and new project opportunities in this pillar of work.
The apprentice will work closely with the Projects Team to support events and you will measure and evaluate the impact of our work, including supporting with participant Voice sessions.
All apprenticeship work will be completed with support of the education provider and your line manager at Saints Foundation.
The Apprenticeship
You’ll gain a qualification in Community Sport and Health Officer Level 3 and Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification.
This apprenticeship will last for 18 months.
