- Develop, implement, and evaluate health education programs and workshops.
- Provide education on topics such as nutrition, physical activity, disease prevention, mental health, and substance abuse prevention.
- Collaborate with clients, community partners, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to promote wellness programs.
- Conduct assessments to identify community health needs and tailor programs accordingly.
- Create educational materials such as brochures, newsletters, and online resources.
- Provide one-on-one counseling and group sessions to individuals seeking health advice or assistance.
- Track and report on program outcomes and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest health trends, research, and best practices.
- Coordinate and participate in health fairs, screenings, and outreach events.
- Nurse Practitioner
- Master of Science in Nursing required; Doctor of Nursing Practice degree preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Public Health, Health Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) a plus.
- 2-3 years of experience in health education or related field.
- Knowledge of health promotion strategies and health behavior change theory.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and online communication tools.
- Bilingual (Spanish, etc.) a plus.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Health Educator to join our team. As a Health Educator, you will be responsible for promoting health and wellness programs, educating individuals on healthy living, and providing resources to help people make informed decisions about their health. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of public health principles, and a passion for empowering others to live healthier lives.
This is a PRN, as-needed position, and the work may be performed both on-site and virtually.
