- Experience and/or strong interest in influencing change by reducing health inequities and structural barriers to health
- Strong program management, analytical, planning, and goal-setting skills. Including process improvement and change management
- Demonstrated experience presenting information to senior leadership, facilitating meetings involving senior leadership and meeting expectations for delivery and quality of work
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with a proven track record of turning data into practical insights to support the Health Equity Strategic Vision
- Computer literate in common software applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, JIRA, Visio);
- Must be flexible, creative, and able to work independently
- Solid understanding of the health care industry, products, systems, and regulatory environment
- Outstanding communication skills and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization and with key constituents
- BA/BS degree required, Graduate degree in public health, policy, heath care, or other related field preferred
- 5+ years experience in health care, project management skills required, quality control and/or auditing processes is preferred
- Previous work experience with accreditation and community and/or Health Equity experience a plus

What we need
The Health Equity Program Oversight Manager will drive strategic initiatives and projects focused on the company’s health equity goals. This role will require influence and be responsible for leading documentation and participating in multiple, cross-functional projects designed to ensure real-time compliance with accreditation standards through ongoing audits, risk management, process analysis, document review, workflow redesign, and/or functional assessment. This position will report directly to the Director of Health Equity in Performance Measurement and Improvement and partner heavily with the Sr. Program Manager of Quality Program Oversight.
Your Day to Day
Drive the Health Equity vision through implementing key initiatives and working collaboratively with relevant teams Become expert in Health Equity accreditation standards and ensure appropriate documentation, audits, reporting, policies, and applications are developed, reviewed, updated, and submitted as necessary to meet and maintain accreditation Lead RFP/RFI responses for health equity and health equity accreditation as well as ensuring internal and external inquires are addressed as appropriate. This may include BCBSMA accreditation status, ratings, or rankings and requests for documents needed to regulatory filings. Develop program documentation and prioritization of efforts to deliver a short, medium, and long-term scalable plan to address health inequities, focusing on improving care delivery at the member, account, and provider level with new strategies/approaches Partner with business units on documentation, program oversight, and periodic audits Apply standard project management methodology / processes / tools to progress initiatives and projects Lead the tracking, documentation, and report status to leadership, workgroups, and steering committees Identify, mitigate / resolve, escalate risks and issues Support program initiatives designed to enhance the quality and completeness of data, as a basis for health equity measurement and accountability

Full time Salary Range: $99,900.00 - $122,100.00The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.
This job is also eligible for variable pay.
