      Health Informatics Analyst

      Key Role:

      Develop, implement, and assess specific new and emerging technologies, platforms, and services. Apply specific functional knowledge, including working and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide activities of more junior employees.

      Basic Qualifications:

      • 1+ years of experience working with program users to elicit and document complete, accurate, and testable requirements

      • Experience with IT and data analytics

      • Knowledge of public health surveillance or bioinformatics processes

      • Ability to comprehend and document business requirements, functional requirements, or system touchpoints, including management driven requirements, reporting and dashboard requirements, or workflow requirements for business processes

      • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

      • Bachelor's degree

      Additional Qualifications:

      • Experience with programming languages, including R or Python

      • Experience with government health agencies

      • Knowledge of high-performance computing in cloud based environments

      • Master's degree

      Vetting:

      Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
