      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Ensure the accuracy and integrity of patient identity data and manage the release of health information in compliance with legal and regulatory standards
      - Maintain patient records, verify patient identities, and process requests for the release of medical information
      - Collaborate with healthcare providers, patients, and external entities to safeguard patient privacy
      - Provide coverage support for the Health Information Management Department and other HIM Departments as needed
      - Uphold knowledge of HIPAA regulations and other relevant privacy laws in daily operations

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or Equivalent
      - 2 years of experience in healthcare, specifically in acute care or related certification
      - 1 year of experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred
      - Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
      - Proficiency in health information systems and EHR software

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Associate's Degree in Health Information Management or a related field
      - Registered Health Information Administrator or Registered Health Information Technician certification
