Present and explain health, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance options to prospective clients, creating customized packages and quotes to meet individual needs and drive optimal enrollment outcomes.
Proactively engage with potential clients via calls, messages, and follow-ups; handle inbound communications and advocate for client coverage access both in person and over the phone.
Educate clients on key insurance concepts such as subsidies, deductibles, co-pays, and out-of-pocket maximums to support informed decision-making.
Maintain accurate documentation in CRM systems and on platforms like Covered California; authenticate client information, ensure data security, and follow all compliance and office procedures.
Address customer service inquiries with professionalism and positivity; refer Medicare clients to appropriate team members and direct others to external support when needed.
Collaborate with team members to meet service and sales goals, foster a supportive work environment, contribute to marketing ideas, and maintain a clean, professional office space.
Stay compliant with licensing, continuing education, and certifications; maintain punctual attendance, seek growth opportunities, and communicate openly with managers while being receptive to feedback.
- High school graduate or higher.
- 1 year of experience in a sales or customer service environment.
- In-depth knowledge of the different types of insurance plans.
- Self-driven and proactive to meet and exceed sales goals and expectations.
- Outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in computers and programs such as Google Workspace.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
