Main Purpose of Job
The main purpose of this full-time contractual position is to coordinate program operations for both long-term projects and the day-to-day management of the operations workstream pursuant to the Office of Advanced Primary Care (OAPC). This position will impact the daily operations of the office and support co-management of the Maryland Primary Care Program (MDPCP) program with CMMI, enabling support and growth for this key part of Maryland’s Total Cost of Care model, and into the future under the AHEAD model. This responsibility includes communications with external stakeholders, development of program materials, and monitoring completion of operational activities in the office. The position is also responsible for supporting recruitment and onboarding activities of potential program participants. This position will also support internal operations including managing internal team meetings and addressing external inquiries, as well as provide administrative support. Completion of this work is critical to the operations and financial infrastructure support of MDPCP participants in the state. This position is located within the Office of Advanced Primary Care.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Experience: Two years of experience evaluating, analyzing, researching and developing health care services, policies and programs. Notes: 1. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Master's degree in Health Sciences, Health Care Administration, Public Health, Public Policy or closely related fieldfor one year of the required experience. 2. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Doctorate degree in Health Sciences, Health Care Administration, Public Health, Public Policy or closely related fieldfor the required experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The desired candidate should possess the following: Experience with project management Experience with MDPCP, value-based payment programs, the Maryland healthcare system, or primary care Experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Slides, etc.)
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.

BENEFITS
Contractual employees who work for an agency covered under the State Employee and Retiree Health and Welfare Benefits Program, have a current employment contract and work 30 or more hours a week (or on average 130 hours per month) may be eligible for subsidized health benefits coverage for themselves and their dependents. As a contractual employee, you will be responsible for paying 25% of the premiums for your medical and prescription coverage, including any eligible dependents you have enrolled. The State of Maryland will subsidize the remaining 75% of the cost for these benefits. You can also elect to enroll in dental coverage, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, and life insurance, but will be responsible to pay the full premium for these benefits. Leave may be granted to a contractual employee at a rate of one hour for every 30 hours worked, not to exceed 40 hours per calendar year.
