- Compliance: Experience with and/or a close familiarity with Medicaid and Waiver programs and systems, or similar health care services and delivery systems, and knowledge of procedures for assessing, evaluating, and monitoring programs or projects for compliance with State and federal laws, regulations, and guidance.

What you will be doing:
This is a new multifaceted position within the Division of Senior & Disabilities Services (SDS) Provider Certification and Compliance (PCC) Unit. In this role, you will work closely with internal and external division partners to develop regulations, service delivery standards, qualified provider criteria, and ongoing quality and compliance monitoring for SDS’s new home and community-based Medicaid-funded adult host home service.
You will ensure compliance with state and federal requirements for all Home and community-based programs. This will involve reviewing and analyzing provider documentation, issuing determinations on certification applications, tracking and trending issues with providers, making recommendations for quality improvement activities, and conducting program compliance monitoring through the provider desk and onsite reviews.

This position is in East Anchorage, next to East High School. Under a hybrid telework model, work hours can be flexible within the general state hours of operation. This position is primarily office-based, but some local and in-state travel may be required.
