The TGH Psychology & Neuropsychology team provides assessment, consultation, and treatment for both adult and pediatric populations throughout the continuum of care. Psychology & Neuropsychology staff represent a high degree of specialization in treating individuals with medical, rehabilitation, and neuropsychological needs informed by a biopsychosocial model of care. Tampa General Hospital is the region’s only Level I Trauma Center with a well established Psychology service. Psychology team members have the opportunity to supervise psychology students, pre-doctoral interns and post-doctoral fellows. TGH is the primary teaching hospital for the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine.

Tampa General Hospital Rehabilitation Services seeks a Clinical Health or Rehabilitation Psychologist to join our psychology team. Primary focus is on assessment and treatment of individuals with acute complex medical conditions within an acute care hospital. Applicants should have training and experience in short term solution focused therapy, family therapy/interventions, behavioral intervention, acute pain management, psychological assessment, brief cognitive screening, and daily consultation with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
