    • Maintain all student health records, health service reports and student health database information
    • Process all paperwork for school physicals, including immunization compliance, health history, vital signs, PE and sports compliance. Make sure the physical is signed with compliant dates.
    • Process all sports physicals for compliant athletes. Make sure physical is signed within compliant dates. Enter all information into IC under the Athletics Tab if student is cleared for full participation.
    • Be familiar with all forms that need to be processed for students including, but not limited to asthma plans, medication forms, OTC medications, allergy emergency plans, diabetic plans, seizure plans
    • Maintain daily log of students who come into the nurse’s office in I.C.
    • Assist the nurse in basic first aid procedures as needed.
    • Document all incoming freshmen physicals for compliance to start high school
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Demonstrate good interpersonal relations and communication skills
    • Demonstrate good organizational skills
    • Demonstrate good judgement, trustworthiness, flexibility, self-motivation and confidentiality

      Job Summary:

      Salary and benefits to be established by the agreement between the Board of Education and the United Support Staff Council.
