What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and provide consultations on cases involving clients with behavioral health diagnoses
- Coordinate with behavioral health providers and case managers regarding complex client investigations
- Identify needs of APS clients to enhance program development and process improvements
- Attend conferences and conduct research to stay informed on trends in behavioral health treatment
- Testify at administrative hearings as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, or counseling with 1 year of relevant experience, OR
- Bachelor's degree in a related field with 3+ years of experience providing behavioral health consultations
- Valid, unrestricted Level One fingerprint clearance card for working with vulnerable adults
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in behavioral health consultations and referrals
- Knowledge of Arizona's network of behavioral health providers
- Familiarity with standardized assessment tools and treatment modalities
- Strong analytical and clinical skills
