- as needed weekends
- shift differentials available: $2/hr for evenings, $3/hr for nights, $2/hr for weekends
- Ensuring outstanding patient and guest experiences by answering phones and patient intercoms in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinating activities of the unit to support patient care staff. Demonstrates the ability to perform multiple, simultaneous tasks in an environment faced with interruptions.
- Manage medical record and data flow with the unit to support safe patient care processes with accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Fulfills physician orders and checks orders for accuracy as well as communicates order changes as needed.

We at M Health Fairview are looking for a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) to join our Emergency Department team at our University of Minnesota Medical Center West Bank Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.

ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for being the face of the unit and crafting the first impression for patients and guests. They will also work closely with the families, physicians, and the multidisciplinary team in a highly organized and professional manner to ensure an outstanding patient experience.

QualificationsWe're looking for a candidate who has:
1 year of customer service experience.
Do you have at least 2 years customer service experience or previous HUC, admin, or hospitality industry experience? Even better!
