What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a project manager and subject matter expert
- Develop analytic approaches using administrative data sets
- Direct teams of analysts to execute analysis plans
- Lead client calls to present results
- Assist junior colleagues with development of analytic skills
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative or healthcare-related field
- At least five years of experience analyzing medical insurance claims
- Proficiency in SAS, SQL, R, or Python
- Strong understanding of medical coding systems
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with publishing white papers or peer-reviewed journal articles
- Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools
- Advanced skills in SAS
- Project-management experience on claims-based analytic projects
- Partial in-office work experience at either location
