      Job summary

      Howard House Surgery and Haven health in Felixstowe have multi-disciplinary teams who are serious about healthcare and achieving the best for all their patients but who like to work in a supportive and fun atmosphere. We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and flexible Healthcare assistant to work in the community, alongside our current paramedic team, treating both Haven Health and Howard House patients. You will be expected to attend housebound patients and care homes, but also occasionally work in practice holding clinics.

      Suitable candidates must be able to work flexibly, autonomously and proactively in the community.

      Full time or part time opportunities will be considered; however, flexibility is crucial to accommodate training, holidays and occasional sickness.

      Within easy access of Ipswich, (20 minutes). We have established teams with a strong focus on customer service and communication. We would love to hear from candidates with GP surgery experience.

      Main duties of the job

      The main duties will be treating both housebound and care home patients across 2 surgeries. You will carry out health checks, management of long term conditions, vaccinations, Blood tests, ECG's etc.Working closely with GP's and debriefing following visits.
