Job summary
Eden Surgery are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our dedicated and friendly Practice team.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for the right individual with experience in providing venepuncture, blood pressure checks, urinalysis and performing ECGs. The postholder will also be required to work alongside the Practice administrative team to ensure prompt and efficient recall of patients. Further information about the roles and responsibilities for this position can be found in the job description.
The successful candidate will be working alongside the existing Nursing Team, being supervised by the Lead Nurse Prescriber. They will be confident in working independently, yet able to work collaboratively with other members of the General Practice team.
About us
We are a small practice providing high-quality, patient-focused care to 4,700 patients in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. Our clinical team currently consists of one GP partner, four Salaried GPs, one Nurse Prescriber, one Practice Nurse and one Healthcare Assistant.
