Job summary
Come and join our dynamic outpatients department, where we see adult patients from a variety of specialties including renal, colorectal, gastroenterology, plastic surgery etc.
We are looking for an enthusiastic fulltime or part time Band 2 who wishes to be part of our team and has a desire to develop professionally.
We are looking for individuals who have minimum of one year of experience within the field.
We work variable hours between 8:30am and 6pm Monday to Friday, but the current shifts may be subject to change in the future.

Main duties of the job

To provide support to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals by giving direct patient care and providing other support and administrative services under supervision in clinics.
To assist in the maintenance of a healthy and hygienic environment.
To undertake customer care training and implement best practice when dealing with patients and other members of staff.
To maintain a flexible approach to team work within the department.
To undertake other duties as requested by the nurse in charge.
To support clinics at The Royal London Hospital & Mile End Hospital
