Assist clinical staff with patient care, including observations (e.g., blood pressure, temperature, pulse).

Carry out basic procedures such as ECGs, wound care, and phlebotomy (if trained).

Support chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, asthma reviews under guidance).

Administer vaccinations and injections (if trained and under appropriate protocols).

Perform health checks and assist with NHS Health Checks.

Maintain accurate patient records using clinical systems.

Ensure clinical areas are kept clean, stocked, and compliant with infection control standards.

Assist in clinics such as smear clinics or minor surgeries (chaperoning when required).

Support health promotion and lifestyle advice under clinician direction.
