Job summary
You will work under the direct supervision of a lead nurse and strictly in accordance to practice guidelines and protocols. The HCA will assist the practice clinical team in the provision and delivery of specific patient care daily.
Main duties of the job
You will need to assist in promoting and maintaining your own and others health, safety and security as defined in the practice Health & Safety policy. You will support the equality, diversity and rights of patients, carers, and colleagues. You will engage fully in any training programme implemented by the practice. As a team member you will strive to maintain quality within the practice, and you will recognise the importance of effective communication within the team.
About us
Robin Lane Health & Wellbeing Centre is a GP surgery with a Wellbeing Centre and AQP Eye Clinic based in Pudsey, Leeds. We are a three GP partner training practice serving a population of 13,800 patients, and we use SystmOne. We offer training for medical students, nursing students and GP registrars. We are a forward thinking, multi-disciplinary team and we work supportively with our patient facing Care Navigation team. We have a modern purpose-built practice building and we are rated Outstanding by the CQC.
Robin Lane Health & Wellbeing Centre are an active member of the West Leeds Primary Care Network.

Preparing and maintaining environments and equipment before, during and after patient care
Assisting in the assessment and surveillance of patients health and well-being
Undertaking specific clinical activities for named patients that have been delegated and taught specifically in relation to that individual.
Helping to raise awareness of health and well-being and how it can be promoted.
Provide lifestyle advice to patients making any necessary referrals within the practice.
Assisting with the collection and collation of data on needs related to health and well-being.
