      Job summary

      County Durham and Darlington Foundation Trust are seeking motivated, dynamic Healthcare Assistants to join our team, who will complement our current experienced and specialist workforce, who are passionate about providing optimal care for our patients

      Please note there will be a Recruitment Day Saturday 16th March 2024 at Darlington Memorial Hospital and you will need to be available for the whole day. The Recruitment day will include information on the role of a HCA, information on the Trust, Panel Interview and Recruitment checks. Please ensure you have full ID documents available to bring with you. Full ID information can be found on the document in supporting information and you must prepare for the day by sourcing references to cover the last 3 years (email address of employers). you must also provide certificates to match the person spec and will need to provide these on the day

      It is a requirement that you complete any recruitment checks on the day

      We have a variety of roles available including bank (for those with care experience)

      Main duties of the job

      Our Trust is looking for Healthcare Assistants who are able to work effectively in a variety of different settings, wards and departments as part of a multi-disciplinary team, who are committed to demonstrating our Trusts values

      About us

      To be eligible for Health and Care Worker visa sponsorship you will usually need to be paid at least £25,600 per year

      We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
