- Utilize your research, analytical, written and verbal communication skills to complete a comprehensive, data-driven project on a key topic in the healthcare industry
- Work within complex databases to analyze client data and summarize findings through presentations, spreadsheets, data visualizations and other reports
- Develop and track progress on detailed project plans to serve as a critical communication tool
- Coordinate project reviews and quality assurance procedures
- Manage personal workload and workflow while assigned to multiple projects
- Turn data insights into actionable solutions and strategies
- Display attention to detail and think critically to solve complex problems
- Have an aptitude for understanding and interpreting data then communicating results
- Work collaboratively with a team and adhere to established processes

- Applicant should be on track to graduate and be available for full-time employment no later than June 2025, with a Bachelor’s degree or higher with a concentration in Business Analytics or other business field with technical slant, Statistics, Mathematics or other relevant field
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint or other similar software
- Exposure to conducting data analysis using R, SAS or other quantitative software
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Strong presentation skills, including both oral and written communication

Overview
Our Healthcare Business Analyst internship is designed to give up-and-coming business leaders exposure to key data-driven questions in the healthcare field and provide a look into the support we offer our clients on a day-to-day basis. Interns will support pharmaceutical manufacturer client teams by utilizing research, analytical and communication skills to create solutions and strategies that will allow our internal teams to support client accounts. Interns will collaborate with business analysts, project managers and data analysts to learn about the healthcare industry, analyze complex data sets, and create presentations to communicate findings and results. The Team
The pharmaceutical consulting team is a group of 40+ individuals in the Indianapolis Health practice from varying backgrounds including actuaries, data analysts, pharmacists, and graphic designers. This group works primarily with pharmaceutical manufacturers by combining healthcare and payer knowledge, available data, analytic rigor, and industry experience to produce strategic and tactical insights for their clients.
Location
This position is based out of the Milliman office in Indianapolis, IN. Candidates hired into this role must be willing to work onsite full-time.
