What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle up to 60 calls daily in a fast-paced, metric-driven call center environment
- Interact directly with patients, affiliate partners, payers, and healthcare providers via phone
- Collect payments and provide guidance on payment options for outstanding balances
- Update account information and manage inquiries regarding medical bills and patient financial responsibilities
- Perform specialized tasks as assigned by the manager or supervisor
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience, preferably in medical billing and direct patient contact within a call center
- Exposure to insurance billing and medical terminology
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional maturity
