What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Extract, analyze, aggregate, review, and interpret data
- Participate in client communications and build sustainable client relationships
- Prepare information for clients by building reports and delivering summary of results
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with broader team, while supporting ad-hoc analytics where needed
- Serve as a resource to others and develop strategic client relationships
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3+ years of actuarial/analytical experience
- 2+ years of experience working in a corporate environment including experience collecting, analyzing, and summarizing qualitative/quantitative data
- 1+ years of experience working in Cloud based Data Science platforms for code development, analytic model management, and model deployment
- 1+ years of experience and advanced level of proficiency using R, SAS, SQL, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, and/or VBA
- 1+ years of expertise working with formulas, calculations, charts, graphs in MS Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries)
- Experience and/or exposure in dealing with health care claims experience and/or Pharmacy claims experience
- Experience and/or exposure in health services research, outcomes research, and/or program evaluation
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, including written and verbal forms of communication
- Experience and/or exposure to parametric predictive modeling and techniques such as clustering, natural language models, etc.
