Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of or experience with SQL and Microsoft Office Suite: Excel and PowerPoint
You have a technical aptitude with data and analytics as your love language .
You will be a rising Junior or Senior at an accredited university or college in May 2024.
You’re available to work 40 hours per week for 10 weeks from May 20 – July 26, 2024.
You will be located in North Carolina during the internship program.
You’re legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.
You have a passion for working with data and statistics to identify complex problems and recommend actionable solutions through data wrangling, manipulation, visualization and analytics.
You’re curious, eager to learn and open to coaching to help you grow professionally.
You bring positive energy, enjoy collaborating with others, learning new perspectives and sharing your own creative ideas.

Rising Junior/S enior: $21/ hr .

Our Healthcare division has an opportunity for a Healthcare Data Quality Intern to join the Clinical Quality Value Programs team from May 20 – July 26, 2024 .
The Clinical Quality Value Programs team builds confidence in the performance of care and health outcomes for our members and community. We lead the Value Programs’ clinical quality provider incentives to reach National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) accreditation and Medicare Advantage (MA) Stars goals by conducting root cause analyses on clinical measures, providin g
strategic recommendations to improve clinical quality performance and measuring and evaluating appropriateness of care and member experience . As a Healthcare Data Quality Intern, you will have the opportunity to e valuate our provider performance, develop the quality story for our annual Blue Premier press release and dive into all things surrounding Heath Quality. You’ll also gain in-depth insights into risk modeling, governance and data analysis.
