      Clinical Innovation Manager

      12 month Fixed Term Contract, up to 3 days WFH

      London, EC2R 7HJ

      Salary range: £50-£55k DOE + bonus + fantastic benefits

      35 hours per week

      The role

      As Clinical Innovation Manager you will contribute to help design, validate, implement and improve Bupa's healthcare innovation strategy. This is a highly cross-functional position, working closely with key teams to successfully deliver and implement the clinical innovation strategy and contribute to the attainment of the highest standard of health of our customers.

      You’ll help us make health happen by

      • Advise market unit teams on healthcare pathways, healthcare innovation that are forward thinking and progress Bupa towards strategy goals with speed
      • Manage processes and platforms which provide multiple functions internationally with an up-to-date view of healthcare developments and their anticipated impact
      • Provide inputs to a cross-market unit innovation hub
      • Support the development of an internal and external intelligence network
      • Communicate with members of the Bupa Board, Executive teams and senior management to challenge thinking and drive action. Therefore, clear articulation of all outputs is integral to successful delivery
      • Under the strategic direction of the Head of Clinical Innovation you will also: oversee Healthcare Intelligence processes and support the continuous development of the service to maximise its value. Regularly review methodologies, outputs and impact to ensure continuous development of the service

      Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

      • Diverse clinical and commercial experience, including within a consultancy or strategic setting
      • Experience in clinical innovation & digital innovation
      • Experienced in project management and able to adopt agile methodology
      • Good quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
      • Ability to integrate and articulate clinical and commercial outcomes when developing and presenting information with a potential future business impact
      • Innovative, creating solutions to problems and new concepts. Sound judgment, problem solving, team leadership and analytic skills
      • Preferred fluency in a second language: Spanish or Polish would be beneficial
      • Strong organizational and programme management skills, able to prioritise competing demands and work in many disciplines simultaneously.
