      Healthcare Project Manager (Intranet projects) - Travel Required

      12 Months contract

      Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Project Manager with experience in managing intranet projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. Oversee the execution of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

      • Intranet Management: Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s intranet. Ensure the intranet meets the needs of all departments and enhances internal communication and collaboration.

      • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including medical staff, IT professionals, and administrators, to define project requirements and objectives. Schedule meetings, build presentations, and keep everyone informed on project progress.

      • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with healthcare regulations and standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory changes.

      • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks. Develop contingency plans to address potential issues. Maintain a RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions) log.

      • Performance Tracking: Monitor project progress and performance. Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders. Adjust project plans as necessary to meet objectives.

      • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk logs.

      Qualifications:

      • Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business administration, or a related field. PMP certification is preferred but not required.

      • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare project management, with a focus on intranet projects. Five to seven years of experience is ideal.

      Skills:

      o Strong understanding of healthcare industry regulations and standards.

      o Proficiency in project management software and tools.

      o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

      o Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.

      o Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

      o Experience with design or building of intranet or internet systems is helpful.

      Qualifications:

      o Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business administration, or a related field. PMP certification is preferred but not required.

      o Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare project management, with a focus on intranet projects. Five to seven years of experience is ideal.

      o This position is a new addition to Ascension, not a backup, and will be part of the overall project management office. The candidate will need to attend and participate in project management office activities and stakeholder coordination is a key requirement

      o PMP / Agile Certification preferred

      • Preferred Skills:

      o Google Suite / Smartsheet Tools

      o ServiceNow Experience
