      As part of the recruitment process for this post, candidates will be required to complete an online literacy and numeracy test and only if they pass this, will they be invited to a formal interview.

      We are currently looking for Health Care Assistants (band 2) to join our team. We are an established team looking after patients who have undergone surgical procedures and also those with acute /chronic health conditions.

      As a health care assistant on ward your responsibilities would be taking observations, assist in patients with personal care and mobility. You will be constantly providing our patients with the highest standard of customer service.You will be doing a mixture of nights and day shifts. Experience in healthcare sector is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. We are looking for someone who is kind, caring, hard-working and flexible to join our team so please try and demonstrate this on your application form.

      Main duties of the job

      The Nursing Assistant /Healthcare Assistant works under the direction or supervision of qualified nurses/midwives to implement care planned by Registered Professionals. The Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) is proactive in monitoring and anticipating patients' needs within the boundaries of the Job Description
