      Healthline Nurse Advisor

      Salford Quays, Manchester M50 3SP.

      Permanent

      Hybrid working (will be required in Salford Quays)

      £40,000 FTE depending on experience

      Full-time, 37.5 hours weekly on shift rotation

      We make health happen:

      At Bupa, 24-hour nurse lead line, to deal with a manage calls from Bupa member/ none Bupa members of clinical nature of both a symptom and diagnostic based nature to offer clinical information to callers and identify home treatment required, seek care today, emergency care.

      You’ll help us make health happen by:

      • To provide clinical support, guidance, and information to customers (24/7, 365 days a year) to empower and enable individuals to make best and most appropriate use of health care services and assist them to obtain the most appropriate treatment.
      • To take responsibility and work unsupervised self-managing call / case referrals, take on clinical responsibility and manage escalations, complaints, onward referrals to third parties, business continuity and make decisions in the absence of a manager out of hours.

      What you will bring

      • Qualified Registration - Adult Nursing
      • Experience preferably from a A&E, Triage and Tele-med health service – experience from a private or NHS hospital is also highly desirable with broad knowledge of different treatment pathways.
      • Current NMC Registration
      • Ability to respond and deal with safeguarding cases and or calls – ideally from current or most recent position.
      • Proven experience in risk management and assessment experience in a healthcare setting.
      • Good IT and communication skills
      • Ability to navigate through different medical system
      • Confident clinical skills
      • Ability to Triage and assess promptly over the phone
