- Req#: 25-52977
- Heat exchanger program engineer. Review HX inspection results, including coordination with NDE personnel.
- Support making recommendations for maintaining program heat exchanger reliability.
- Perform Heat exchanger margin calculations.
- Support maintenance evolutions and support recommendations for deficient conditions.
- Support monitoring of program health and perform assessments.
- Provide regulatory oversight for generic letter 89-13 heat exchangers.
- Update procedures.
- Perform calculations supporting maintaining design criteria and licensing basis.
- Provide tube plugging criteria.
- Long and intermediate term plans for timely HX replacement.
- Routine performance monitoring.
- Performing engineering activities that support projects and operations across the nuclear business.
- Employees in this role apply broad nuclear plant engineering experience and principles to make decisions and recommendations.
- Individuals work with independence and have wide latitude to exercise judgment over technical solution development.
- Maintain program processes that confirm that maintenance practices, operating procedures, and training are appropriate based on service conditions and are sufficient to ensure the
equipment will function as intended. - Nuclear Experience: 2+ years
- Experience with Eddy current testing of heat exchangers
- Experience with GL 89-13
- Experience with Thermal Performance reviews
- Experience with Proto-HX
- Excellent technical leadership, communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Duration: 12+ months contract with potential extends or Convert
