      Responsibilities

      Tasks

      • Operate heavy equipment
      • Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
      • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
      • Prepare accident reports
      • Secure special attachments to equipment
      • Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
      • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
      • Troubleshoot problems related to equipment
      • Inspect commercial vehicles to ensure compliance with regulations governing load restrictions, the transportation of hazardous materials and public safety
      • Level earth to fine grade specifications

      • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
