      We are IMMEDIATELY hiring technicians based throughout our oil sands locations. These are FULL-TIME PERMANENT positions on a 14x14 12 hour continuous day/night shift rotation.

      Job Description:

      • Safety conscious team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a high attention to detail
      • Troubleshoot, maintain and perform equipment repairs
      • Interface with customers, products and sales support
      • Working with the Supervisor on various tasks
      • Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
      • Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
      • Various related duties as required

      Qualifications:

      • Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification
      • Minimum 1 year experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic
      • Valid Drivers License and successful recent Driver Abstract required for field based positions

      Note:

      • Positions follow a 14x14 day/night shift rotations
      • Hourly rate: $53.41 - $61.28 / hour (plus allowances, premiums)
      • Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current Collective Agreement
      • Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement
