Job Description
- Req#: 12400
- Conduct thorough inspections of wheeled vehicles, including engines, transmissions, power train components, hydraulic systems, and fuel system components.
- Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
- Inspect, adjust, and test parts and systems to ensure functionality.
- Supervise and professionally develop subordinates.
- Handle maintenance-related administrative tasks, including record-keeping and reporting.
- Plan work area layout for efficiency and safety.
- Conduct on-the-job training.
- A minimum of 10+ years maintenance experience in Mechanical Maintenance or a combination of Mechanical Maintenance and General Technical
- Ability to climb up the back of Joint Tactical Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV)
- Ability to bring and use own tools
- Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening
- Ability to receive a favorable Tier-1 Investigation result and obtain, and maintain a CAC
- A minimum of a High School Diploma / GED
- US Army 91 series MOS qualification or civilian equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Hourly Pay Rate $33.04.
- Retention Bonus of $1,000 upon completion of 750 hours.
- Completion Bonus of up to $5,000 (pro-rated bonus based on the total hours worked).
- Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching. Work environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.
