      Job Title: Excavator Operator

      Job Description

      We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy equipment, including 30 and 40 ton excavators, and will be knowledgeable in industrial recycling and dismantling equipment operations. The role involves equipment maintenance, organizing materials, loading trucks, site clean-up, and bundling and sorting materials. Also this individual will be asked to help out while not operating.

      Responsibilities

      • Operate 30 ton and 40 ton excavators efficiently and safely.
      • Utilize Mag and Grapple excavator attachments.
      • Operate industrial recycling and dismantling equipment.
      • Perform daily equipment maintenance, including greasing, safety checks, and inspections.
      • Organize materials during disassembly and demolition processes.
      • Load trucks using the excavator.
      • Assist with site clean-up, including sweeping, shoveling, and other labor tasks.
      • Bundle and sort materials.

      Essential Skills

      • Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including excavators and hydraulic equipment.
      • Knowledge of shear and demolition techniques.
      • Ability to process, sort, and grade scrap metal.
      • Experience in interior and exterior industrial demolition.
