      Job Description

      We are seeking experienced heavy equipment operators to join our dynamic team for our fly-in and fly-out opportunities. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will play a crucial role in operating heavy equipment, primarily Haul Trucks, in our open pit mine. This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals who prioritize safety, efficiency, and work-life balance—allowing you to focus on your work while enjoying a 7/7 schedule. If you have a valid driver's license, CSO or BSO certification, and a minimum of 2000 hours of Haul Truck operation experience, we invite you to apply today!

      What would you be doing?

      • Operate a Haul Truck or other heavy equipment in an open pit mine.

      • Operating assigned heavy equipment safely and in an efficient manner.

      • Understanding and adhering to all policies, procedures, and standards.

      • Participating in all safety and culture-building programs.

      • Training on new equipment when requested.

      Does this sound like you?

      • Valid driver's license with 3 years drivers abstract required.

      • Minimum of 2000 hours of work experience operating a 773 or larger Haul Truck.

      • Diverse Heavy Equipment experience is considered an asset, including any combination of Dozer, Excavator, Grader and Rock Truck experience.

      • Open-pit mining experience is considered an asset.

      • High school diploma and/or post-secondary degree is considered an asset.

      • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
      • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
