Job Description

Operate excavator and/or other heavy equipment in an open pit mine.
Operating assigned heavy equipment safely and in an efficient manner.
Participating in all safety and culture-building programs.
Training on new equipment when requested.
Minimum of 6000 hours of work experience operating a 250+ excavator and at least 2000 hours on either a 785+ haul truck or D8+ dozer.
- At least 2000 hours of open pit mining experience.
Valid driver's license with 3 years ' driver's abstract required.
Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or Basic Safety Orientation (BSO).
- A high school diploma and/or post-secondary degree is considered an asset.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
- Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
Pay rate up to $48.75 per hour.
Health benefits after 300 hours.
14/14 schedule.

Job Description
FLINT is seeking skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team! In this role, your responsibilities will include operating various heavy equipment to support various mining activities. Your expertise in safely handling and communicating with other operators on-site will be crucial to ensuring the successful completion of our projects.
This opportunity is a Fly-in, Fly-out position at Kearl Lake. This position works on a 14/14 rotation with flights provided to/from Calgary or Edmonton and busing to camp accommodations.
