      Heavy Equipment Operator – Geotechnical Construction

      Must be local to Utah – Out of State Travel Required (ID, WA, OR, WY, MT, ND, SD, ID and more)

      About the Role:

      We’re hiring experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for geotechnical construction projects involving specialty foundation elements and ground improvement techniques. Projects are typically commercial, civil, and industrial. Operators will work with earth retention molds and sculpting to stabilize slopes and terrain.

      ️ What You’ll Do:

      This role is a mix of equipment operation and physical labor.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Operate front-end loaders, dozers, backhoes, telehandlers, drills, water trucks, and mini dozers (D3)
      • Use tie-back drills (soil nails), concrete pumps, and micropile equipment
      • Dig trenches, move materials, pile rock, compact soil
      • Unload and cut beams, unload trucks, dump rocks
      • Perform physical labor including concrete and cement work
      • Adapt to labor-intensive project demands

      ✅ Requirements:

      • Must be local to Colorado
      • Willing to travel for projects (housing provided)
      • 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment in civil, geotechnical, earthwork, or commercial projects
      • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
      • Able to lift up to 75 lbs
      • Willingness to work night shifts (approx. 10% of time)
      • Experience with forklifts and skid steers preferred

      Compensation & Perks:

      • $40/day per diem
      • Housing provided during travel assignments

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
